Rocky Bleier - Legendary NFL Player
Rocky Bleier, an incredibly determined athlete, was drafted to Vietnam in '68 while only a rookie with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Before Bleier had the opportunity to prove his ability on the football field he was critically injured in both legs while fighting in Vietnam The story of Bleier's agonizing two year battle to overcome his injuries and return to the Steelers is described in his book Fighting Back, and recreated in the 1980 ABC TV movie of the same name.
