Mario Villa - Designer and Artist
Mario Villa grew up in Nicaragua before his family was exiled amidst the Sandinista Revolution, making New Orleans his permanent home. As he implanted himself into this culturally rich city, he opened his first gallery in the French Quarter before becoming internationally acclaimed as a furniture designer with clients including Princess Caroline, Karl Lagerfeld, Oprah Winfrey, Kevin Costner, Paul Newman, and Lee Radziwill.
