Jamie Murray - Star of MTV Real World New Orleans, President and founder of adventure-extreme sports dot-commerce site
As a cast member of MTV's "Real World" New Orleans and owner of SoulGear.com, an adventure and extreme sports site, Jamie Murray has gained insight into concerns and interests of young adults. Jamie graduated from Cornell University with a degree in international business. He furthered his education at London's City University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong where not only his schooling, but also his locality provided many interesting and educational opportunities. Since then, Jamie has continued to gain significant exposure to the trials and tribulations of dot.com start-ups as well as worldwide commerce and the dynamics of global markets.
Jamie also leads a unique and adventuresome lifestyle as an adventure/extreme sports enthusiast. He has led teams in a number of extreme outdoor adventure-racing competitions. Some races have taken him deep into the jungle wilderness of Vietnam for days at a time with only the bare necessities. When he is not out conquering the elements, Jamie spends time conversing with philosophers and thinkers on eastern religion and culture. His love for the outdoors, adventurous living, and eastern philosophies allow Jamie to expand his horizons and bring him new and ever-lasting perspectives on living.
